Coastal Christian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Davidson Day Patriots. For the Centurions, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Patriots walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2022.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Coastal Christian got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-11, 23-25, 15-13.

Coastal Christian's win bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Davidson Day, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.
