Baseball Recap: Lake Placid Comes Up Short

Lake Placid fell victim to DeSoto County and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Dragons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Lake Placid's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for DeSoto County, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 9-16.

As of now, neither Lake Placid nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
