Volleyball Recap: Osborne Bulldogs vs. St. John's/Tipton Catholic Blujays
Osborne was the 2-0 winner over St. John's/Tipton Catholic when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blujays on Saturday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
Peyton Clark paced Osborne's offense, picking up five kills. Clark got some help from Camrun Taylor and her ten assists. Finally, Clark was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.
Osborne's loss dropped their record down to 18-12. As for St. John's/Tipton Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season.
Osborne wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Beloit/St. John's on the 11th.
