Berea-Midpark put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the South Rebels. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Titans have posted since April 29, 2024.

Austin Mihalek looked comfortable as he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Michael Samarin was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Aidan Litherland was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Berea-Midpark's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for South, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berea-Midpark will take on GlenOak at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Titans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Golden Eagles have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for South, they are taking a road trip to square off against Lake Catholic at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
