Lakeview had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 21-14 victory over the Boys Town Cowboys on Friday. The Vikings' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Rylin Viergutz threw for 89 yards on nine of 15 attempts. Jett Borer was his top target, picking up 38 receiving yards. On the ground, Trevor Sloup rushed for 63 yards and three touchdowns.

Although Boys Town took the loss, they still got scores from Jayden Cook and Jalyn Conner.

Lakeview's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Boys Town, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Lakeview will face off against Aurora at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Boys Town does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
