Statesboro came into Saturday's game looking for another win against Greenbrier, but Emily McMurray wouldn't allow it. The Wolfpack had just enough and edged out the Blue Devils 60-57 thanks in part to McMurray, who posted 23 points along with five boards and five steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played.
Greenbrier has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenbrier will take on Westside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Statesboro, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Richmond Hill at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
