There's no place like home for Centennial, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Sunday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Manual Rams a 10-0 shutout on Thursday. Considering Centennial have won eight games by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Manual with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alicia Fernandez (6), Alaina Kimble (2), Evelyn Hernandez-Ruiz, and Payton Kaiser.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 10-8-1. As for Manual, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Centennial will take on Mahomet-Seymour at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Mahomet-Seymour will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Centennial surely won't give up without a fight. As for Manual, they will challenge Beardstown at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
