Recap: Red Mountain Mountain Lions vs. Sherwood Bowmen
On Thursday, Red Mountain came up short against Sherwood and fell 57-47. Red Mountain has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Mountain Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gage Lindsey, who scored seven points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Conor Doka, who scored five points.
Red Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Sherwood, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.
Red Mountain won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Highland Prep at 12:00 p.m. on December 29th. Highland Prep is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Sherwood and Mountainside will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Mountainside presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Sherwood in Oregon (Mountainside is ranked 24th, while Sherwood is ranked 134th).
