The Wray Eagles's game on Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They snuck past Burlington with a 62-57 victory. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Wray's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Rafael Trejo led the charge by scoring 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The contest was Trejo's third in a row with at least ten points. Adonay Gonzalez was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five steals.
