Baseball Game Preview: Reavis Rams vs. Argo Argonauts

For the second straight game, Reavis will face off against Argo. The Rams will head out to face off against the Argonauts at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Reavis has three straight wins, Argo has nine straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Reavis barely beat Argo the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rams' pitchers stepped up to hand the Argonauts a 10-0 shutout on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Robert Soto looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Parker Zasada and Blake Stefanek did most of the damage at the plate: Zasada went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI, while Stefanek got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. Stefanek has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Anthony Perez was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Argo's defeat dropped their record down to 6-22. As for Reavis, their victory bumped their record up to 20-8.
