Elkin and East Wilkes are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Buckin' Elks will be playing at home against the Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Elkin is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

East Wilkes has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.0 points on average over those games. As for Elkin, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
