Even though they lost, Athens was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2023.
Northeast Bradford pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Athens, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.
Everything went Northeast Bradford's way against Athens in their previous matchup back in August of 2023, as Northeast Bradford made off with a 3-0 victory.
