Basketball Recap: Parkview Christian Takes a Loss

After soaring to 65 points the game before, Parkview Christian was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They took a blow against the Pawnee City Indians, falling 67-30. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 215th, while the Indians are ranked 92nd).

Parkview Christian dropped their record down to 11-10 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Pawnee City, their win bumped their record up to 13-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkview Christian will head out to take on Sandy Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Sandy Creek has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Pawnee City, they will venture away from home to challenge Southern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pawnee City knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Southern likes a good challenge.
