Basketball Recap: Williamsville Extends Winning Streak to Four

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Williamsville walked away with it. They blew past the Quincy Notre Dame Raiders 55-33 on Friday. The Bullets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Brayden Saling was his usual excellent self, shooting 62% from the field en route to 21 points. He is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Carson Doran was another key player, putting up nine points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.

The victory (which was Williamsville's fourth in a row) raised their record to 29-3. As for Quincy Notre Dame, their loss dropped their record down to 17-11.

Looking ahead, Williamsville will challenge Staunton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Staunton will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something Williamsville surely won't give up without a fight. Quincy Notre Dame does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
