Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fultondale). Their defense stepped up to hand the Holt Ironmen a 10-0 shutout on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Fultondale considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

Their offense was hitting Holt from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Eric Santos led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for five goals all by himself.

Fultondale is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-10-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those seven contests. As for Holt, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-13-1.

Coming up, Fultondale will challenge Gardendale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Holt does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
