Basketball Recap: North Farmington Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the North Farmington Raiders were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 53-49 to the Cass Tech Technicians. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 145th, while the Technicians are ranked 15th).

North Farmington's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-7. As for Cass Tech, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Farmington will welcome Avondale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Avondale has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 172 points over their last three contests. Cass Tech has already played their next match (against Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
