Smithville won the last time they faced Rittman and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Smithies never let the Indians get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Smithies.

The team relied heavily on Greenly Burns, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and two RBI. Kiersten Ross was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.

Smithville hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rittman struck out eight times.

Smithville's record is now 5-7. As for Rittman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Smithville will have a chance to go back-to-back against Rittman: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
