Colony came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Oxford Academy Patriots. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.

Michael Huicochea tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Adrian Sifuentes was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-6. Those hits were his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Angel Serna, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Colony kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive contests.

Colony's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Oxford Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.

Colony wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-6 victory against Victor Valley on the 8th. As for Oxford Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 12-1 win against Whitney on the 8th.
