Whittier RVT is a perfect 10-0 against Greater Lawrence Tech since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Wildcats will head out to square off against the Reggies at 4:00 p.m. Whittier RVT will be strutting in after a victory while Greater Lawrence Tech will be coming in after a defeat.

Whittier RVT will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Thursday, then bounced right back against Lowell Catholic on Monday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Crusaders by a score of 11-7. Considering the Wildcats' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The team relied heavily on Corey Deziel, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. David Tateosian also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Meanwhile, Greater Lawrence Tech didn't have quite enough to beat Northeast Metro RVT on Monday and fell 7-6. The Reggies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Richy Dominguez stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. Jerlin Melo was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

The win snapped Whittier RVT's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 4-6 record. As for Greater Lawrence Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8-1.

Everything went Whittier RVT's way against Greater Lawrence Tech when the teams last played on April 10th, as Whittier RVT made off with a 13-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
