Baseball Recap: Frontier Takes a Loss

The Frontier Mustangs came up short against Sentinel on Friday and fell 14-9.

Connor Ingmire put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and not a single walk). Ingmire was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Ingmire wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Lincoln Ingmire, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Frontier's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Sentinel, their record is now 2-3.

Coming up, Frontier will challenge Ripley at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sentinel, they will face off against Sayre at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
