University School came tearing into Saturday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Medina Battling Bees by a score of 8-5.

Cayden Zelenak was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted over his last ten contests. Another player making a difference was Deacon Nelson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

University School's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Medina, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-3.

Coming up, University School will challenge Western Reserve Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Medina, they will take on Shaker Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
