Football Recap: Danville Ironmen vs. Bloomsburg Panthers

Danville unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 30-10 to the Bloomsburg Panthers on Friday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Ironmen came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 36th, while the Panthers are ranked 322nd).

Even if they lost, Danville's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Lliam Hagerman was especially locked on to Bloomsburg's QB and sacked him twice.
