Softball Recap: Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves vs. Person Rockets
While Cedar Ridge put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Person. The Fighting Red Wolves put the hurt on the Rockets with a sharp 10-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Fighting Red Wolves in their matchups with the Rockets: they've now won five in a row.
Charlotte Lowry was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Lowry was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Mia Best, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4.
