Soccer Game Preview: Hononegah vs. Belvidere + How To Watch

The Hononegah Indians will head out to take on the Belvidere Bucs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hononegah's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Hononegah is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Belvidere North on Tuesday. The Indians fell just short of the Blue Thunder by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Belvidere didn't have quite enough to beat Rockford Auburn on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Belvidere's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Hononegah, they now have a losing record of 6-7-1.

Hononegah came up short against Belvidere in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
