A well-balanced attack led Hubbard over Howland in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Eagles blew the Tigers out of the water with a 38-0 final score. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won five matchups by 23 points or more so far this season.

A big part of Hubbard's victory came down to the chemistry between Dylan Bucher and his top target Braydon Songer. Bucher gained 211 total yards and two touchdowns while Songer threw for 371 yards and three TDs. Songer didn't just play on offense: he also made ten total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended two passes. Michael Hazimihalis was Songer's top target, picking up 58 receiving yards and one score, while also rushing for 34 yards and one touchdown.

The win made it two in a row for Hubbard and bumps their season record up to 6-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 points in those games. As for Howland, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5.
