Recap: Dunsmuir Tigers vs. Butte Valley Bulldogs
The Dunsmuir Tigers were the 67-41 winner over the Butte Valley Bulldogs when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Dunsmuir had to suffer through a rough 56-16 loss at the hands of Butte Valley. Dunsmuir has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
John Khan and
Desean Pistorius, who each put up six points. Pistorius also led the team in rebounds with 15.
Issiah Jackson took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
Dunsmuir's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Butte Valley, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dunsmuir will take on Elk Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Butte Valley will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Big Valley at 6:30 p.m. on December 12th.
