Basketball Recap: Olympia Triumphs

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Olympia walked away with it. They came out on top against the Palm Beach Central Broncos by a score of 62-51 on Saturday.

James Nowells (JR) was his usual excellent self, shooting 60% from beyond the arc to rack up 26 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Bishop Wenze (JR), who went 5-for-9 on his way to 13 points and six boards.

Olympia was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They are 15-5 when they've passed the ball that well.

Olympia's record is now 16-10. As for Palm Beach Central, their defeat ended a 17-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 19-8.

Coming up, Olympia will host Wellington at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Palm Beach Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
