Northern Michigan Christian got their first taste of in-conference action on Tuesday and they started things off strong. They put the hurt on the Houghton Lake Bobcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Comets were shut out 1-0 the last time they took on the Bobcats, so the Comets were just returning the favor.

Northern Michigan Christian pushed their record up to 15-15 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Houghton Lake, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-18-7 record this season.

Northern Michigan Christian will host Mesick at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Houghton Lake, they will head out on the road to face off against Alcona at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
