Volleyball Recap: Prairie Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Prairie Central lost against Newark on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hawks fell just short of the Norsemen by a score of 2-1. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Prairie Central sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-13, 19-25, 25-22.

Morgan Hergenhahn went supernova For Newark., getting 17 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Hergenhahn has posted since back in September.

Prairie Central's loss dropped their record down to 16-15. As for Newark, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-4 record this season.

Prairie Central will square off against Paxton-Buckley-Loda at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Newark, they will challenge Illinois Math & Science Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
