Grant waltzed into their match on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Cordova Lancers by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Grant had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 26-24, 25-18, 25-11.

Grant's win bumped their record up to 7-20. As for Cordova, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Grant will face off against rival McClatchy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cordova is set to challenge their familiar foe Antelope at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
