Baseball Recap: Largo Takes a Loss

Largo came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 20-5 to the Port Charlotte Pirates.

Largo saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Hampton, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Largo now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Port Charlotte, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Largo is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Seminole at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Port Charlotte, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Manatee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
