Softball Recap: Temecula Prep Takes a Loss

Temecula Prep was the 14-0 winner over Desert Christian Academy when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots came up short against the Conquerors on Friday, falling 17-6. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Samiyah Antoine made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. Amina Antoine was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

Temecula Prep's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Desert Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Temecula Prep has already played their next matchup, a 20-3 defeat against San Jacinto Valley Academy on the 14th. As for Desert Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 21-19 win against San Jacinto Leadership Academy on the 14th.
