Baseball Recap: Central Magnet Takes a Loss

Central Magnet managed to slip by Tullahoma the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Central Magnet lost 15-0 to Tullahoma on Tuesday. Central Magnet was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Tullahoma earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Central Magnet now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Tullahoma, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Magnet will head out to challenge Washburn at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Pirates' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Central Magnet's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Tullahoma, they are taking a road trip to take on Riverdale at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
