Basketball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Remington Broncos, falling 52-31. While losing is never fun, the Celtics can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 320th, while the Broncos are ranked 45th).

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Remington, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Trinity will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Smoky Valley on the 27th. As for Remington, they will take on Hillsboro on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Broncos 28, the Trojans 28.7) so any points scored will be well earned.
