McKenzie Smith put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in May of 2024 on Wednesday. She didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
