Basketball Recap: Illinois C Comes Up Short

Illinois C lost against Northside L back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Illinois C Crusaders fell 57-48 to the Northside L Lions. The Crusaders' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Northside L can attribute much of their success to WILL SLAGLE, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. What's more, SLAGLE also racked up three steals, the most he's had since back in December of 2023. JEFFREY WHEELER was another key player, going 5 for 12 on his way to 11 points and three blocks.

Illinois C's record now sits at 1-6. As for Northside L, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing HEA Firebirds HomeSchool the next time they take the court. Illinois C will head out to face HEA Firebirds HomeSchool at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, while Northside L will head out to face them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
