Niles West has gone a perfect 5-0 against Payton College Prep recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Wolves will host the Grizzlies at 10:00 a.m. Niles West will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

While Niles West's win against Maine East wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wolves had just enough and edged out the Blue Demons 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wolves have posted against the Blue Demons since April 11, 2019.

Meanwhile, Payton College Prep came up short against Lincoln Park on Wednesday and fell 6-3.

Nick Linares made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run. Sam Merrill was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Niles West's win bumped their record up to 13-14. As for Payton College Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 12-16.
