Volleyball Game Preview: Central Lake Trojans vs. Onaway Cardinals + How To Watch

Central Lake is 0-3 against Onaway since September of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Trojans will take on the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Saturday, Central Lake came up short against Atlanta and fell 2-0.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Onaway and Atlanta meet (two straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Cardinals fell 2-0 to the Huskies. The loss continues a trend for the Cardinals in their meetings with the Huskies: they've now lost four in a row.

Central Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for Onaway, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8-5.

Central Lake couldn't quite get it done against Onaway when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
