Baseball Recap: Ravenna Comes Up Short

Ravenna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Cloverleaf Colts, falling 8-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 on Monday.

Ravenna saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Hysell, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Ravenna's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Cloverleaf, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9-1.

Ravenna didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-7 victory against Newton Falls on the 14th. Cloverleaf has also already played their next game (against Field), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
