Football Recap: Maynard Takes a Loss

Maynard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Hudson Hawks 44-13. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 194th, while the Hawks are ranked 43rd).

Maynard's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Hudson, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Maynard and Hudson will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Tigers see the field they'll take on West Boylston/Tahanto at 10:00 a.m. on November 27. As for Hudson, their break will end when they face Marlborough at 10:00 a.m. on November 27.
