Caitlin Leary leads Carle Place to victory over Garden City

There's no place like home for the Carle Place Frogs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They secured a 48-43 W over Garden City on Wednesday. This was payback for Carle Place, who suffered a 53-27 loss the last time these two teams met.
Carle Place can attribute much of their success to Caitlin Leary, who scored 30 points along with 7 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Leary has scored at least 25% of Carle Place's points. Paige Selhorn was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
The victory got Carle Place back to even at 1-1. As for Garden City, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Carle Place won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Kellenberg Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th. Garden City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
