Basketball Game Preview: Woodlawn vs. Julian Jaguars

Woodlawn will venture away from home to challenge the Julian Jaguars at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Woodlawn's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups.

Last Thursday, Woodlawn was able to grind out a solid victory over Urban Prep-Bronzeville/Urban Prep-Englewood, taking the game 72-65.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Julian's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They lost to Butler on the road by a 66-52 margin.

Julian's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Woodlawn, their win bumped their record up to 11-3.

Woodlawn barely slipped by Julian when the teams last played back in January of 2022, winning 39-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Woodlawn since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
