Softball Recap: Indian Rocks Christian Comes Up Short

Indian Rocks Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Canterbury Crusaders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 18-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Indian Rocks Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Canterbury, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-11 record.

Looking ahead, Indian Rocks Christian will take on Boca Ciega at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Canterbury, they will face off against Bradenton Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.69 runs per game on average), something the Crusaders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
