Basketball Recap: Shelby Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Shelby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a hard 58-43 fall against the Choteau Bulldogs. That's two games in a row now that the Coyotes have lost by exactly 15 points.

Shelby's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 0-3. As for Choteau, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Shelby will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Chester-Joplin-Inverness at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. As for Choteau, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Rocky Boy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
