Soccer Recap: Celina Extends Winning Streak to 23

Celina extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Lindale. They were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the Eagles. Considering Celina have won 23 matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Lindale from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Sammy Quiroz led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The win was the 23rd in a row for Celina, bringing their record up to 26-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 150 goals over those 23 contests. As for Lindale, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 16-6-1 record.

Celina has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Life Waxahachie on the 4th. Lindale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
