Basketball Recap: Hancock Comes Up Short on the Road Against Westwood + How To Watch

Hancock had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Westwood Patriots on Tuesday, falling 63-20. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Hancock saw an underclassman step up: freshman Crew Caserio posted nine points.

Westwood pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Hancock will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Dollar Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westwood, they will head out on the road to square off against Ishpeming at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
