Softball Recap: Ridge View Takes a Loss

Ridge View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 20-0 to the Blythewood Bengals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blazers of the 19-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2022.

Ridge View's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Blythewood, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Ridge View will challenge Sumter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blythewood, they will take on Lancaster at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. The Bengals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bruins have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season.
