Basketball Recap: Springer Comes Up Short

Springer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 60-10 defeat at the hands of the Maysville Warriors. The Cardinals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-1.

Springer's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Maysville, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which somehow still isn't as good as their 13-4 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Springer Cardinals face off against the Temple Tigers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Maysville, they will take on Ninnekah at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Maysville is facing Ninnekah at the right time seeing as Ninnekah is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
