Valley had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 7-12 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Southern Trojans 18-3. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Vikings considering their one-run performance the match before.

As for Southern, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-17 record this season. Their loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

For Southern's part, they got a massive performance out of Richard Hernandez, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. The Trojans are 4-1 when Hernandez posts two or more runs, but 13-16 otherwise. JuJu Bates was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple.

As of now, neither Valley nor Southern have any future games scheduled.
