After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Emery, American Fork was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Payson Lions 8-7. The win was some much needed relief for the Cavemen as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
